As of August 2024, our latest website version is built using the default WordPress Block Editor, with only three plugins in use: Autoptimize for amalgamating and minifying CSS and JavaScript assets, Slim SEO for essential SEO meta tags, and WPvivid Backup Plugin for reliable backups.
We began by using the Create Block Plugin to develop a minimalist blank theme with minimal colours, fonts, and templates, then built the site from there. The content was transferred from the previous 2022-2023 version and imported into this WIP version on a temporary staging site. We maintained the basic style of the previous Kadence-themed site but replaced the blue highlight colour with #BC000 red.
