The Australian Broadcasting Authority (ABA) will be the regulatory body for the new legislation. To find out more about the ABA and the legislation visit http://www.aba.gov.au/

In response to the Government's amendments the Internet Industry Association has established a Code of Practice, to read the code visit http://www.iia.net.au/

The Internet Industry Association has also set up a full information site for internet users.   Please visit:
http://www.iia.net.au/guideuser.html

As a responsible member of the Australian Internet Community, Spiderweb will be complying with the requirements of this code.

Spiderweb is required to provide access to an approved content filter for use by its customers. The filter restricts access to Internet sites that contain content classified as "prohibited" by the Australian Broadcasting Authority.

Parental supervision of children's usage is really the most effective content filter available. Read the ABA's Tips for parents at http://www.aba.gov.au/family/family/tips_parents.html
