Pay As You Grow Hosting Plan

With our flexible Pay As You Grow hosting plan you can start with a basic $20 AUD per year service fee (which includes 1 GB of Storage space) then add or remove as many WordPress websites and IMAP mailboxes as you actually need. Each WordPress website, IMAP mailbox and extra 1 GB storage slot start at $20 AUD per year with discounts for bulk orders. As an example, a single WordPress website plus one IMAP mailbox would cost $60 per year. Then if you add an extra IMAP mailbox and 1GB storage slot (2 GB total) then that would be $95.00 per year. We also offer Nextcloud storage to sync and share your files, contacts and calendars along with various other collaboration features.

We now prefer payments via Paypal including normal Credit or Debit Cards (Paypal account not needed) by selecting the “Pay with a Card” link on the Paypal payment page. You can find our bank BSB/Ac and your Reference number details within the online invoice by selecting “Bank Transfer Details” from the “Payment Method” menu.
The easiest way to pay is to call us and we can make a Credit Card payment for you
If you are logging in to the billing system for the very first time to pay an invoice then click on the Forgot Password? button at the bottom of the signup page and type in your email address. You will receive an email with a link to add a password of your choice. We can also send you a new password which you can copy and paste. Do not use your email password, it will not work. Notes About Our Hosting Services

We provide general hosting related support via our support ticket system, Mobile/SMS or Spreed WebRTC if you have a laptop webcam and a reasonable headset with microphone (contact us for an appointment.) If you require personalised support for your particular computer system, mobile phone, WordPress design or VPS server setup then you need to purchase hourly support at $60 AUD per hour. The PAYG hosting plan includes unmetered bandwidth for normal web and mail traffic but abusive traffic trends will get our attention and may lead to suspended services. Our servers are mirrored via Rsync every night to offsite backup servers. All files can be restored from the previous day upon request. Long-term incremental snapshot backups are the responsibility of the client, however, we are more than happy to help facilitate your backup procedure via SFTP, Rsync or even NFS if you have a static IP. Just submit a support ticket and we will provide specific instructions for your particular situation.

IMAP Mailserver Details

We’d like to encourage everyone, if possible, to switch over to using IMAP instead of POP for mail. It’s not a simple procedure so we’ll do the best we can to help you if you chose to change to IMAP. If you need to setup a new computer or mobile device then always select the IMAP option. There is no need to make any immediate changes to your mail program. Keep in mind we would like to completely disable the POP email service by the end of 2019.

These advanced IMAP Mailserver settings below should only be needed if autoconfigure does not work with just your email address and password during the setup procedure in your mail program…

  • Incoming Mailserver:
  • Incoming Port: 993 / SSL
  • Outgoing Mailserver:
  • Outgoing Port: 465 / SSL

Why use IMAP instead of POP for Email?

There are a number of benefits but the most important reason is that our spam filtering system requires IMAP to be able to view the correct server side “Junk” folder. This special folder holds spam messages and activates the retraining procedure. If you have a spam message in your Inbox then drag (move) it to the Junk folder. If you notice a good message in the Junk folder then drag it back to the Inbox. Either action will retrain your personalised spam filter to classify future messages accordingly.

IMAP stores messages on the remote mailserver and is specifically designed to allow connections from multiple devices. Using mobile phones and separate home and office computers via IMAP means email can be reliably accessed from anywhere because all messages on all devices are synchronized. The status of a viewed or deleted message will be reflected on all devices. You can also create multiple folders to help organise your messages and these folders are also available on all devices.
